We had a really lovely stay, additionally the weather was glorious. The Bungalow is well equipped with everything you need, it was very clean, Comfortable and well maintained, a proper home from home. Pete the owner left his contact details in case we had any issues, we didn’t but it was good to know we could contact him directly if needed. The Bungalow is based on a lovely Holiday Park, the site was tidy with good facilities, Pool, a small Shop and a Bar where we had a couple of nice meals. The Bungalow is an excellent base to explore the many beautiful and interesting places in Cornwall. We really enjoyed our time there and will book again
| My wife and I stayed at Tregenza 10-24 May 25. The online booking procedure and correspondence from Peter the owner was excellent. On arrival we found Tregenza to be spotlessly clean and everything for a comfortable stay provided in the kitchen and other rooms. Unfortunately the toilet flushing system broke down on our first day but after contacting Peter he arranged immediate repair. The bungalow is situated in a quiet sunny spot nicely away from the main hotel making it lovely and peaceful. You do need a car to get around but we knew that in advance. Otherwise you are perfectly placed to visit a wonderful part of Cornwall. My only recommendation is for the owner to provide a small footstool for us “slouchers” while lounging on the sofa, and a small table to put your tea/coffee on while watching telly. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Thank you. |
This was a well equipped bungalow, a good size for a family of 4. It’s on a lovely site just outside of Penzance, and well positioned to explore the area. We enjoyed trips to Geevor tin mine, Lands End and St Michael’s mount, to name just a few. There’s a footpath opposite the site entrance which goes across the fields, it is even possible to walk to the Newlyn Meadery (and back), which meant we got to enjoy a jug of mead and a good meal there without worrying about who has to drive. The site cats are sooo cute, and the swimming pool is excellent, my youngest was swimming confidently in the deep end by the time we left, which he wouldn’t do at the start of our break. If you’re looking for a nice place to stay in Cornwall, I’d definitely recommend staying here.
