The Area

Only a short drive away, there are beautiful beaches and spectacular coastline, from the golden beaches of St. Ives with fishing boats nestling in the small harbour to the rugged moorland and cliff heading off towards Land's End.

Mousehole Harbour

The quaint village of Mousehole is set just a short distance from Penzance, with its tiers of pretty cottages that surround the picturesque harbour; where 110 years ago over 400 fishing vessels were packed between the harbour walls.

St. Michael's Mount

Home of the St. Aubyn family for over three hundred years, is the jewel in Cornwall's crown. Beautiful exotic gardens cling to steep rocks leading to the Medieval castle. Access to the mount is by foot across the causeway at low tide or by ferry at high water.

View the engine houses which are littered across stunning landscape - the only reminder of the once thriving Cornish Mining Industry.

There is an abundance of Coastal and inland walks for all abilities. Stroll across moorland, see medieval round houses, ancient quoits and legendary Celtic chieftains turned to stone or take an invigorating coastal path walk, with stunning views of spectacular coastline.
